I need to add that I also installed the Connect s/w on my little Dell Latitude D600 notebook computer and had no issues there at all… Maybe I was just being lucky! I didn’t even do what Sony recommended for the successful installation: close all programs and turn off spyware or virus …… I am sure it’s the Sony music/movies division that is putting all the stipulations into the software / hardware design that is crippling what would otherwise be beautiful gadgets
